There?s no backlight
Works for what it is, way better than those little Roku remotes that always gets lost in the covers, HOWEVER, if you?re going to tote that there?s a backlight then there must be backlight. If you press the backlight button the middle button briefly lights up green, but not even enough to notice.
Easy & inexpensive- not backlit
Great remote, easy setup, very inexpensive. I have several. Compatible with every device in my house. Cant figure out how its backlit - that button does nothing & not explained. Wish there was an OPEN for DVD Blue ray. Otherwise, great!
Works well, but keys not really backlit
Programming was easy, synced with devices and works well. Disappointed with the 'backlit keys' feature as advertised on package. Only one key (not keyS-plural) dimly illuminates and it is one of the least used keys on the remote.

To find your code, enter your device information:
Press and hold the button until the button lights up red.
The button's red indicator light remains on.
Select the device you want to program from the Device Categories:
The button’s red indicator light blinks once and remains on.
Enter the 4-digit code from the included list for the category and brand of your device.
The button’s red indicator light shuts off if a valid code was entered.
If the button’s red indicator light is still on that means an incorrect code was entered. In that case, check the list again and re-enter the code.
